Besties, there's a better way to make it through Mother's Day.
The Day Mom's Day Brunch is an in-person Dead Mom Club experience designed for connection, remembrance, and doing grief differently… together.
We're gathering on May 9th, from 10 am – 2 pm, at Wantable Cafe in Milwaukee (123 E Walker St, Milwaukee, WI 53204) to honor our moms and ourselves on a weekend that brings up waves of grief for many of us.Â
The moments we'll share
Honor your mom with intention. You'll have the chance to build your own bouquet at the flower bar, write your mom a letter with the option to send it to Postal Service for the Dead, and participate in a simple but powerful “in her name” coffee ritual.
Hear from grief authors Sara Rian and Chelsea Ohlemiller as they share real, honest conversations about loss, healing, and how to journey through life with grief by your side.Â
Â
We'll share a photo of our moms and their stories. You can simply sit, witness others, and feel seen in your grief as well. Afterward, we'll place our photos of our moms on a shared memorial table, creating a collective space to remember the women who shaped us.
The Dead Mom's Day Brunch is my favorite event of the year
This brunch creates a healing space that so many of us long for on Mother's Day. In addition to the delicious food, you'll get a grief swag bag with goodies to encourage you to explore your grief and honor your mom after the event.Â
